Job Opening: ABN Basketball Academy Head Coach, Bangalore India
An international collaboration between Pitch,Inc. India and ABN has created job opportunities in Bangalore, India. ABN will be launching its first basketball skill academy in Bangalore, India and is looking for a dynamic, energy filled, hands on coach. This is not a position for a facilitator. We need an exciting individual who can work on outdoor courts, with very low level and beginning level players.
Start Date: Summer 2015 ( Date to be determined between June 15 – Aug 15)

Health and Dental Insurance
Initial short workweek developing into full time position
Round trip air ticket to and from Bangalore, India
Living accommodations. Probably luxury apartment share with domestic liaison coach
Application fees for work visa
Cash salary of approximately 70,000 Indian Rupees. ( This is roughly $1100-1200)
Bonus cash incentives for academy client growth.
Experience playing and coaching basketball at the international level.
Experience coaching youth ages 6-18 with proven results.
Demonstrated experience teaching elite fundamentals
Experience using modern training and academy skill development techniques
Energy and desire to develop basketball in the country of India
General Duties ( included but not limited to)
Lead coach for skill development training sessions, approximately 20 hours per week
Marketing liaison with local schools and businesses. We expect our academies to start with 50-60 paying clients ages 6-18. Objective: enrollment to 200 by October 2015.
Development of motivation and assessment program to chart all progress of clients
Record keeping ( attendance, player profiles, etc)
Equipment and material inventory control
Video analysis and breakdown
Develop relationships with parents and client players
Counsel students and families in basketball pathways in both India and USA
Potential for future management duties as academy grows
