Legendary Hall of Fame College of DuPage Men’s Basketgball Coach Don Klaas will be speaking at the Nike  Championship Basketball Clinic in Las Vegas,Nevada May11,2012.This event will be held in conjunction with the NJCAA Men’s Basketball All-Star Game schedule for May 12,2012 in the Orleans Arena and the NJCAA Men’s Basketball Coaches Associations National Meeting.Featured Speakers: Bob Knight former Indiana & Texas Tech Coach,Mike Anderson Arkansas,Jay Wright Villanova,Retired Hall of Fame Coach Don Meyer,Frank Martin Kansas State,Josh Pastner University of Memphis,Shaka Smart Virgina Commonwealth and Kevin O’Neill USC.

Coach Klaas’ Achievments:

• 33 years as head men’s basketball coach at College of DuPage with a record of 719-324 (.680)
• Won the North Central Community College Conference (N4C) twelve times
• Seven Region IV Championships
• Qualified for National Tournament seven times
• 2001-02 National Championship
• 13 All-Americans
• 75 players have received scholarships to four-year schools
• 90% of his sophomores go on to four-year schools.

• 41 years as head men’s basketball coach overall with a career record of 813-431
• 800th career win achieved during 2010-11 season

• N4C Conference coach of the year 12 times
• NJCAA District II Coach of the Year 7 times
Illinois Division III Coach of the Year 6 times
• National Coach of the Year (2001-02)
Career record of 778-404
Ranks 8th in career wins in NJCAA history

ATTENTION: COACHES REGISTERING FOR ANY OF THE NIKE CHAMPIONSHIP BASKETBALL CLINICS: It will be the responsibility of the Clinic Attendees to have the pre-registration form and payment received no later than the deadline date of the particular clinic they want to attend or they will have to pay at the door registration fee on site. Also, any coach who pays the pre-registration fee and does not attend or any problem with payment, will have to pay a $25.00 processing fee.

*** Please note – Video recording of any clinic session is NOT allowed. Professional video recording is being performed by Championship Productions, Inc. and will be available soon after the clinic is complete. ***

ALL SESSIONS WILL BE HELD IN THE THE ORLEANS ARENA WITH ON THE COURT DEMONSTRATIONSAll clinic attendees will be able to attend the National Junior College Coaches Association All Star Game by showing their clinic badge for complimentary admission

  1. Can we have a special offer for coaches coming off of this site? How about the coach who runs this site? lol

    • If you give brochures of your organization we have a booth and can pass them out.Also I will be in Las Vegas for the Euro-Basketball July th,17th and 18th we may need a coach,evaluator and possibly clinician.
